The King’s Hawaiian fanbase is an enthusiast consumer-base. The Buddy Group designed and built a loyalty program to encourage interaction between the brand, consumers and other consumers. The site manifested as an experience built on the Badgeville platform and filled with interactions, games, polls, quizzes, downloads, and amazing content for the King's Hawaiian fan base.
The Rewards site included planned content for multiple months to ensure a high level of ongoing consumer engagement. Every week, new activities and badges were released and encouraged users to keep coming back.
The empowerment of the Rewards fanbase resulted in overall engagement with the brand, including: Rewards participants visited more than 3X the pages of an average visitor to KingsHawaiian.com; spent more than 5X the time on KingsHawaiian.com; and had 1/3 the site bounce rate. The program also resulted in a 50% increase in the rate of Facebook Likes for the brand.
