3M and Beyond Interaction challenged The Buddy Group to show how the new Scotch Paper Cutter worked in a standard Flash banner. By using simple animations and clear transitions we were able to pack multiple messages into this tight ad unit introducing the new product.
The key was grabbing users' attention quickly and making it clear this product was better than average scissors. Cutting through the actual ad seemed like a good place to start. Including a coupon offer helped to increase the click through rate, leaving the ad a cut above the rest!
