Dynamic Director of Business Development
You will manage our Relationship Managers and Business Development Buddies, overseeing the relationship building with existing and new clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals that build our market position and achieve financial growth. You will be responsible for negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. In addition, you may be required to act as the key point of contact on select accounts to ensure they are handled with the highest level of service.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital space and demonstrated competence with a high volume of accounts. You will rely on your extensive experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will be trustworthy and work well with minimal supervision. A solid track record of leading diverse teams is critical: you will possess the experience and confidence to manage multiple accounts, while acting as a mentor to your teams; inspired leadership with the ability to develop team members is a key to success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Developing proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs). Once new business has been won, work with other department heads and staff to coordinate account startup and transition into Production.
  • Strong client relationship skills and ability to accurately manage client expectations (knowing when and how to say no while keeping client happy, confidently navigating sticky situations and thinking on your feet to quickly solve problems) with the ability to teach those skills to your teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and financial skills.
  • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, sales, pricing and all other matters related to revenue generation.
  • Personally pursue and close key sales opportunities and managing the sales process.
  • Lead internal teams from multiple disciplines to pursue key prospects.
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  • Ensure sales offerings are closely coordinated and in alignment with internal offerings/capabilities.
  • Build professional and trusting relationship with clients.
  • Understand the client's requirements.
  • Set and manage client's expectations.
  • Create clear, precise and properly detailed SOWs to ensure a successful hand-off from business development into production.
  • Pursue sales leads and prospective clients, delivering presentations and proposals, and negotiating and closing business deals.

Interactive Project Manager with Technical Flair
The Buddy Group is an established award-winning digital engagement agency (6 years old), quirky (we call employees Buddies) and fast growing, well-respected company (more than a dozen iconic brand clients we love working with) located in Irvine, California. We are currently seeking a talented, energetic, and optimistic professional with an annoying attention to detail to fill the role of Interactive Producer/Project Manager. The Producer/Project Manager will manage the internal day-to-day workflow of multiple projects including production, scheduling, budget tracking, and quality assurance. Serving as the key liaison between the Relationship Manager and the production team, the person communicates project requirements to the project team and ensures successful execution and deployment of deliverables. S/he must understand every aspect of the project and be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time. Think – circus performer! This position requires a minimum of 3 years of interactive advertising project management experience with a high volume of projects. Really. We mean it. So, if the bulk of your experience consists of creating and managing your own blog, this position is not for you. A very strong familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to project management is essential. You will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, because no one here is going to hold your hand, but we will collaborate with you. Basically, you need to bring it. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Pull relevant information to create project brief based on client contract of deliverables
  • Use your project brief to request TBG resources that are appropriate for scope and complexity of project
  • Lead creative and development team kick off meetings and status meetings
  • Troubleshoot site maps and wire frames
  • Use keen eye to ensure comps and beta sites are ready for the client, and then use your knowledge of website design and development to manage client expectations within budget parameters
  • Create and maintains project schedule and ensure all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years online/digital advertising industry experience with a solid understanding of web design standards, Flash development, usability, and rich media
  • Demonstrated experience in developing project documents, including project briefs, schedules, cost estimates, and status reports
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously: this is critical!! You are the gatekeeper, so we count on you to find the issues before the client does! Which leads to:
