Copywriter
This role will work in tandem with our Strategy, Creative and Audience Engagement teams to ensure approach and voice adhere to client brand standards and campaign initiatives. The writing style will vary by client so you will need to be able to wear multiple creative hats and take on different personas regularly – so please have a manageable level of schizophrenia. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ability to write/develop compelling, strategic messaging for a wide variety of digital platforms
  • Produce innovative content that meets directives
  • Create compelling concepts based on technical product information and client-provided copy
  • Manage multiple rounds of revisions across several different scripts simultaneously
  • Confirm and adhere to all production deadlines with internal clients
  • Review all written content for errors/omissions intended for internal client approval – aka self edit
  • Actively participate in content development sessions with team members
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Written most important, but we need to understand what you’re pitching verbally as well.

  • Must be comfortable presenting drafts and revisions to clients

You will manage our Relationship Managers and Business Development Buddies, overseeing the relationship building with existing and new clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals that build our market position and achieve financial growth. You will be responsible for negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. In addition, you may be required to act as the key point of contact on select accounts to ensure they are handled with the highest level of service.

Rockin' Relationship Manager
Working in tandem with Producer(s), the Relationship Manager is responsible for the overall vision as it relates to the clients’ strategic objectives, ensuring that projects stay on strategy and on brand. In addition, the Relationship Manager develops and nurtures the client relationship, with an ability to suggest additional service offerings and innovative ideas to the client. In effect, you serve as the “voice” of the client; taking ownership of the clients’ point of view and requirements; acting as an internal representative for the clients’ perspective. You need to understand at a very high level the goals of multiple projects and campaigns and how they interrelate in a brand strategy. How is success defined? By your ability to develop trust with the client, by helping them see The Buddy Group as strategic partner, not just a vendor, and by increasing the clients’ use of our service offerings.

  • Conduct or participate in weekly or monthly status meetings with client.
  • Once an opportunity has been initiated, define the scope, to include writing and executing the SOW.
