Assistant to the CEO

The Buddy Group is evolving what it means to be an agency. We are currently seeking a smart, detail oriented, energetic, and optimistic professional to fill the role of Assistant to the CEO. You will be working directly with the CEO, engaging with clients and engaging with a talented team of people who are well versed in numerous verticals, social, video and business strategy.


Working with the CEO means there is no such thing as a typical day. One day you will spend half your day arranging meetings and the other half producing marketing materials at the direction of the CEO. Other days you will be asked to attend client meetings, deliver helpful information to the creative or project management team. Generally speaking, if you have a passion for continual learning, to contribute and enable success, to grow individually and on a team level, this is a great role for you.


This role is a great opportunity for the right individual to be exposed to the full scope of agency life and make an impact on our ability to grow and succeed. If you’re not willing to roll up your sleeves and push yourself beyond your comfort zone, this isn’t the role for you. That said, you will be trained ongoing by the CEO and members of the leadership team to ensure you have the tools to succeed.




You will be critical to ensure that key information and communication occurs with and around specific accounts and new business presentations

  • Prepare accounts department documentation such as estimates or statements of work with CEO guidance and approval
  • Write client communication and correspondence including proposals, meeting and travel planning and more
  • Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Refresh conference rooms with supplies and survey periodically throughout the day to ensure a professional appearance
  • Get to know the clients and their industries



  • The team will come to you as the person who can help to make sure that everyone has what they need to succeed such as
  • Make travel arrangements for all authorized business trips for CEO and staff as needed
  • Inventory and order  supplies, kitchen supplies, postage, etc.]
  • Ensure the office is welcoming, to create a positive impression with all guests and answer incoming phone calls
  • Distribute daily mail and prepare shipments as needed (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Filing and miscellaneous tasks associated to contracts, contractors or accounts payable as needed
  • Special projects, such as holiday gift preparation and company event support
  • Support company social media and marketing campaigns as collaborator and manager as needed

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of organization and detail oriented
  • Strong work ethic
  • Past experience in an administrative or consultancy position is a major plus


This role reports directly to the CEO.
