This week Facebook updated their contest rules by removing another limitation—age requirements for entry. Basically this means contests containing products such as tobacco, prescription drugs, alcohol and other regulated items will no longer require entrants to verify they are the legal age to obtain these items. I understand (I guess) Facebook’s reasoning for adjusting these rules to be more flexible to active brands within these industries, but when do less restrictive limits become a good thing? (more…)
